About Folkehøjskole The course is built on the framework of Integral Theory (Ken Wilber), with roots in the Grundtvigian tradition of whole person learning. (Grundtvig was the founder of the Folk High School idea.) You will be taught in a workshop atmosphere, with dialogue as the main tool. We will seek an attitude of: “Let me learn, let me hear you, let me think about what you say”. Folk high school learning is participatory, challenging and involving. Lectures will be short, and group work, interviews, visits, workshops are taking up most of the time. The learning environment is creative and stress free. It is important to our school to inspire activism and public service in the world at both the corporate level and the individual level. The goal of “Take the future” is to work against alienation and towards global understanding - and to enjoy the process! In general a Folk High School stay is a possibility to discover personal potential, and to find your talent. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world, indeed it is the only thing that ever has! from RSA animated |
